Join our Spring School on Engineered Living Materials – a multi-day program combining inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and networking events focused on the future of bioengineered and therapeutic materials.
Participants will hear from leading experts such as Professor Tiffany Abitbol (EPFL), Professor Jörg Lahann (University of Michigan / KIT), and Professor Meredith Silberstein (Cornell University), covering cutting-edge ELM fabrication methods and emerging applications.
Hands-on workshops include co-creating ELM concepts with generative AI (Prof. Andrés Díaz Lantada, UPM/IMDEA) and a practical session on FAIR research metadata led by Dr. Abril Azocar Guzman and the NFDI MatWerk team.
The program is complemented by social activities such as a movie night, pub quiz, and an optional brewery or distillery tour in Ettal, before closing with industry talks.
